Rev. Toe‑Blake Roy is currently serving as the interim pastor at Lachute Baptist Church.
Pastor Roy was born in St-Gédéon, Beauce, and came to faith in Christ at age 13 after being convicted by a Bible passage about idolatry. His entire family had gradually come to faith following an evangelistic Bible study his grandmother invited them to.

Feeling called to ministry at age 15, he pursued a Bachelor’s degree in religious education with a focus on pastoral ministry at Briercrest Bible College in Saskatchewan followed by a Master of Divinity at London Baptist Seminary in Ontario. Then the Lord provided him with a job in courier services, which allowed him to continue his studies at Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary in Michigan, where he earned a Master of Theology. He later returned to Briercrest Biblical Seminary to complete two additional Master’s degrees—one in higher education and another in organization and leadership.

Toe-Blake married Linda in 1983, and they have four children—two daughters and two sons—who now have families of their own. Toe-Blake and Linda are proud grandparents to 14 grandchildren.
In 1991, the Roy family joined FEB International as missionaries. In 1993, Pastor Eric McGrath of Lachute Baptist Church reached out to them to help begin a French-speaking ministry in the largely English-speaking town of Lachute. The Roys relocated in Lachute to start this work, which later became the Église Baptiste Évangélique des Laurentides. Since 2006, Toe-Blake has also served as Canadian Director for BLF Canada (Bible and Literature for the Francophonie), while continuing to support evangelism efforts and Christian radio outreach throughout Quebec.
In July 2022, responding to a pastoral vacancy at Lachute Baptist Church, he stepped in as interim pastor, strengthening the bond between the original English-speaking congregation and the French ministry he helped found.
